Welcome to Kasarang (가사랑). We care about your privacy and want to be transparent about how we handle your information.

1. Information We Collect

When you use Kasarang, we collect:

• Account information — your email address and username when you sign up
• Content you create — lyrics you paste, words you save, and songs you add to the community library
• Usage data — how many song analyses you've performed to manage free tier limits

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide and improve the Kasarang service
• Save your word bank and study progress across sessions
• Power the community song library
• Manage your account and subscription status

3. AI Processing

When you analyze lyrics, the lyrics text is sent to Anthropic's API for AI-powered translation. We do not send your personal account information to Anthropic — only the lyrics text itself. AI-generated translations are for educational purposes and may not always be perfectly accurate.

4. Community Content

Songs you add to the community library are visible to all Kasarang users. Your username is displayed alongside songs you've contributed. You can delete your songs from the Songs tab at any time.

5. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase on servers in the United States. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with: Anthropic (lyrics text for AI analysis), Supabase (database storage), Stripe (payment processing), and Vercel (app hosting).

7. Your Rights

• Access your data — contact us and we'll provide what we have
• Delete your account and all associated data at any time
• Correct inaccurate information in your account

8. Children's Privacy

Kasarang is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Cookies

Kasarang uses cookies only to keep you logged in between sessions. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of Kasarang after changes means you accept the updated policy.
